Courtney Marie Zandstra here- a writer, storyteller, and lifestyle photographer. We live in a hustling society, where I myself crave the fast pace, but I believe in the sacredness of rest and sabbath. I find inspiration at a slower pace; cool air and the light that comes through my blinds, leaving their mark on the wall. For the last six years, I have taken photography as a side gig and have fallen in love with the stories I have the privilege of telling. I delight in meeting new families and getting to be a part of capturing their lives through the years.
This website started as a place to share written stories from both ordinary and extraordinary moments, all in hopes of empowering others that they too have a story to be heard. Now, these stories have turned into photographs that is part of God’s greater story- a story of His goodness and faithfulness and the promise that all things are being made new. These photos are proclamations of that truth and give God all the glory.
